Bias power supplies

Hi all. I'm new here. Looks like a cool site.

www.biaspower.com

Have any of you used these power supplies for anything before? I am currently using a 1W model supply. THe problem is that I am running the output of this supply through a DC/DC converter and I am getting 100kHz apart spikes of at least 100mV and somtimes greater. What do you recommend for filtering these spikes out? :?: The DC/DC circuit is designed around the linear technologies part# LT1956-5. Let me know if you need anymore information with this question.

Thanks

Josh

several classical filtering methods

There are several filtering methods.

1. Put a large shut capacitor on the output line. Parallel it with smaller ones.

2. Use a series inductor shunt capacitor filter.

3. If you can work with a slightly smaller voltage, use a low dropout analog voltage regulator following the supply.
