Help me with a voice changer project for PIC

i want to record voice, example "hello", to pic and change its frequency using pic. its like a voice changer but only short voice samples. can anyone help me?

Issue #187 of Circuit Cellar Magazine had an article **broken link removed** by
Aviad Bechori, Shlomo Engelberg, & Roi Rapoport. This should provide you some background. You do not specify which PIC you intend on using. I suggest that you look up some of the DSPic application notes at www.microchip.com.
