export mwo files

I have created my dxf file in MWO. I then try to import the file to cadence to do some layout but the import always comes up with a blank layout. I have only the thickmetal layer selected in MWO.

autocad to cadence layout

You can copy the dimension to turbo-cad 14 I think it s better.

cadence export to autocad

I don't have turbo-cad available. Are there any other options?

Added after 3 minutes:

I have successfully gotten the .dxf file into Allegro but the outline comes in as a free track. If I make the free track a copper area a random shaped is filled in and not the outline.

microwave office import dxf

Hello drewcam888,

I think you have not selected the required layers export mapping in Layer setup (LPF) ,
first enable the layers you want to export then go to export the layout in dxf format....

if you still have the problems...upload your MWO project file, & the corresponding .dxf file so that I can look at the export file mappings & provide you solution ...
