compare express pcb to pcb 123

hellooo friends,,,,
iam new for pcb routing now iam in confussion that which tool i have to choose, can any boby suggest me, which will cover footprints of maximum IC's and all PIC microcontrollers.

top pcb design tools

Hai, Many people use Express PCB
I use PCB123 from www.pcb123.com.
it is working fine for me it has libraries and you can download updates and integrate them into the software.

All the best

+best+pcb+library

Eagle is another free software widelyused for pcb design. On professional scale, people mainly use orcad or protel dxp

:D
well orcade is the best in this business . it has most builtin libraries and if some are missing then they can easily b downloaded. my suggession is that go and use it . orcade release 9.1. if need any help . plz send me the circuit i give u the pcb. but for that u need orcade installed on ur system:D

hi friend u can use Proteus for PCB drawing and simulation for PIC. it is nice na!!!!

hi nomi_pkk

acually iam working with orcade 9.1 only but iam strucked pic footprint, so can i get the footprint or any library which will have al of the IC's foot prints

orcad is good enough to meet your needs. but learning it is a bit more difficult

Perhaps you can create new footprints for the chips. such facility exists in OrCAD

I use altium DXP. With it you can do many things, but you have to make some pcb models for pic microcontrollers, it don't have all.

Hi, I use Egla.It's easy to lear, and it's free. ; )

You have many tutorials on the internet...

Allegrow is the best tool for PCB designing

now i have an idea what kind of tool is suited me.

i think orcad is the best tool for autorouting.

and for simulation Protus is more user friendly with animated output.and simulating an micro controller circuit with peripherals is simply the best in this software with no h/w.

For me the best pcb tool is altium DXP

well friend u can search the library for the required foot print ... but if c the data sheet of ur component then the foot print of it is mentioned there u can get it.:D

Protel primitive and simple
