how to program atmel mega 32

plz help me with software and hardware...is it possible to program the ic using serial communication

Sofware development: AVRStudio, WinAVR, CodeVisionAVR.
Programming the chip:
- software - the previous + STK500 or other development tools;
or,
- software PonyProg + interface from www.lancos.com.

you can also , used asim khan isp programmer .

there are two programmer of his parallel and serial .

you can use both but , i check the parallel one and working ok

There is a lot of jtag clone available in internet.

avr studio + jtag is also a better option.

but i dont have STK500...can i programm without stk500?...can anybody give any example on how on to programm the ic and the wiring diagram of the IC

u can use pony prog software with serial programar hardware as given on
lancos.com

the simplest way is to use DT006 connector with a simple parallel cable
