Which version of Protel?

As far as I remeber the format is actually almost the same as Specctra dsn file and uses the dsn inporter from within Hyperlynx.

Also, from my memory which is sadly getting worse, a lot of the rules (source, from to topology and others) are NOT translated correctly into Hyperlynx so you need to define the stack-up, sources, driving pins, planes and all these things again manually.

It is not a nice interface at all.

hyperlynx .cmp file

forgot, the file is in ASCII so you can export your hyp file and open it up in a proper text editor and see format for yourself (definately not use notepad)

I want to write a pinlist generator program for protel using the hyp file.
