I need IEEE papers or schematics of counters

6bit counter

Dear friends,
I'm planning to design a 6 bit counter at Transistor level. The counter should operate at 2 Ghz at least.
I need some IEEE papers or shematics of counters at transistor or gate level.
Any help will be welcommed.
