16 pin lcd pinout 2 isnt power

Hey Guys...
I just has make a Pinout for the Print
Here We go

Pinout for the Board

544E
MDK52V-0

With dual controllers HD44780A00 (2x)

And Segment Controllers HD44100H (8x)

Connector 16x ---> Pin 1 is Marked in the under left corner

Layout:

.....................................HD44780
............................................¦
............................................v

................................X X X X X II --> Data Connector
Light Connector --> :
...............................X X X X X

Data Connector Pinout:

1=DB6
2=DB4
3=DB2
4=DB0
5=E (upper Chip)
6=RS
7=V (1-5) -3V!!
8=GND
9=DB7
10=DB5
11=DB3
12=DB1
13=E (lower Chip)
14=RW
15=Vcc +5V (2,7 - 5,5 V)
16=GND

Data connector Layout:

8 xx 16
7 xx 15
6 xx 14
5 xx 13
4 xx 12
3 xx 11
2 xx 10
1 xx 9

Backlight is seperate (its Optional...)
2 Cooper Connectors with holes on the left

Its the best you make a controller Board With a Power Regulator 5V (LM7805) and -3V (ICL7660) .
Connect it with a Floppy cable.

Floppy Cable Layout (Upper View / Not connecting side):

Pin2

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <-- Connector
Pin1 -->xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ <-- Floppy Cable
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦

Red Strip = Pin 1

Pin1 Is marked With an Arrow on the sidewall of the connector.
So just connect LCD to Pin1 and Controller Board to Pin1, so u have the same Layout
of the Connector as you have at the LCD Board.

If you dont have any 5V and -3V powersupply, just take a old ATX Power supply...

Your comment about the back light not working - are you aware that the backlight needs 82v ac?

This surprised me - there is a module you can buy that converts 5v dc input to 82 volts AC out its called a SDEC1003 - obsolete of course.
