    Best audio format for mobile phone?

    Hi all, i want to know is there any format better than MP3 for audio files in mobile phones considering the limitation of memory and power in mobile devices.

    If there is any , please give the details about the format.

    If you mean codec used for the voice conversation
    I think AMR is the last one you can check the ETSI specs for full documentation

    MP4 is also a useful version... But MP3 also is good only, provided you utilise the full capability of the variable bit rates offerd by the codec..
