-ve spike in board on 5V when Max3232 is mounted

Hi,

I am facing a problem in board bring up. When I mount MAX3232 on my board I observe –ve spikes (- 100 mv) on 5 volts supply. I have tried to increase my bulk capacitor on the input supply of the MAX3232 but it did not solved my problem. Can any one please suggest me the probable solution for this.

so what , if your ckt is digital one ,why you worry ?

max 3232 :- if you give ckt / dia and functionality of this chip , and what you trying to do with it ?

Thank you for your reply. I have a board in which I am using H8 – 3104 controller and thermal printer interface; I was concerned if these –ve spike will affect my ADC value. So far I have tested other interface’s they are working fine. But I really do not know if it is going to affect my board in long run. Please suggest me and also find attached the ckt diagram.
