Varactor-loaded split ring resonators for tunable notch filters at microwave frequencies

link: **broken link removed**

Hi everyone,

May i collect some advise concerning square shaped VLSRR figure 1(b) in the paper above?I am using MWO2006 and want to try the design above using MWO.I hope that experienced MWO users will shed some light on issues that i confused.I tried drawing it in emstructure but I dont know where i should get the varactor diode from?

1. Should the square shaped VLSRR design carry out in em structure or circuit schematic? If schematic, which component i should use?

2. According to the fabricated tunable notch filter( figure 2) there is a line cross the SRR.What component should I used for that?

3. After all the design, which port should i use?

Your helping hand is highly appreciated. Thanks!
