Hi
My SCh is in Orcad.
How to import netlist into Altium

convert schematic to pcb altium designer

Altium Designer imports Orcad schematics directlly. Use File>Import Wizard, and select Orcad .DSN file type. Once you've imported the schematic, you can load the netlist directly into the PCB.

To import just a netlist, you first have to convert it into Tango or Protel format. To accomplish that you would need to either manually edit the Orcad netlist to put it in the proper format, or you would need to use a third party tool such as RSI Omninet.

can you explain how anybody can convert schematic to pcb? And also how can onebody import proper netlist (tango format) to DXP?

altium convert schematic to pcb

You can't "convert" a schematic into a PCB. You have to design the PCB using the information from the schematic. You should read the help document that comes with DXP called "TU0117 Getting Started with PCB Design.pdf". You'll find it in the "Help" sub directory of your DXP installation.

To import a netlist to an existing PCB in DXP, follow the instructions you will find at: **broken link removed** .
