Hi Guys
can any one pls tell me how to update a fpga component after using interactive pin swapping option. I had used interactive pin swapping option and routed the fpgas completey. Now i need to update the fpga to a lead free version with exactly same pin out. But when i place the fpga banks in schematic they do not match with the exsisitng ones because the pin were swapped in exsisting fpga. now is there any way where in i can save these pin assignments, updated the fpga and then import the pin assignments....

I am unable to find any help on this. Can anyone pls let me know about it...

Thanks in advance
tama

Re: How to update component after pin swapping in Altium????

I believe the pin swapping information is stored in the schematic/PCB symbol and when you replace the component the pin-swapping information is lost. I seem to recall seeing this mentioned in the Altium PDFs.
