Implemeting a software SPI in a PIC16f84 using C language

Off topic but:

The Pic16f84 is expensive and long in the tooth.
Have you considered another variant with an spi module built in. Most pics are pin compatable.

actually its for a pic16f876 I know it has a SPI built in but i Want to use the I2C and the SPI at the same time, so thought of doing the SPI thru software and to use the hardware I2C.
is there an affordable PIC that have the 2 protocols on different pins ?

Use CCS C, problem gone in using SPI.

actually im using CCS C but i can see only that there exist a hardware SPI (using the project wizard build) ,is there any example about software SPI in CCS?

You can check the website of CCS, there is a forum there maybe you can find answer there or best way is study the SPI protocol and do a bit banging operation.
