now i research about some DSG and related structure. Trace plane has some shapes also.

so which simulator is more suitable for this work? pl help

AWR, IE3D, Ansoft Designer, HFSS , ADS, Sonnet

consider the more powerful control, friendly use and accurate.

also if the device include some via, is there some change?

i just took a AWR lessons, I will try this but now i am not familiar with it.

First i think this question is a 2D question, so i thought IE3D is best.
In fact I have some experience with IE3D and HFSS, the structure including a few via, compared with the measurement result, the HFSS is more accurate. but HFSS design is more time consuming.

when tuning the structure i meet the problem in using the ie3dlibrary, so i use the designer to do the tuning, but need some comment on this tools.

thanks a lot in advance.

i work on dsg with ADS momentum. its not 3D but serves the objective, optimization and tuning is possible as well. no idea about others
