12f675 programmer

I need a programmer for the 12f675 and the 18f252, can anyone recommend a good supplier, preferably UK. The 12f675 needs to be programmed in circuit.
Thanks a lot

12f675 programer

any programmer will work as soon as you connect the pins mclr, rb6,rb7 and power supply !!!

12f675 icsp

You can try propic2 programmer. Works great with me! But the software I use with it is IC-Prog v1.05c

Best Regards,

18f252 programmer

Thanks for the replies fellas. I have had a little more success with my current programmer. Posted a similar request on another forum, and was suggested a wisp628 icsp www.voti.nl/wisp628/ they also supply the firmware and schematics free of charge so you can build your own.

Cheers

Why not try this cool ICSP programmer:
PIC-PG2C - SERIAL PORT PROGRAMMER FOR 8/18/28/40 PIN PIC MICROCONTROLLERS AND I2C EEPROMS + ICSP connector and cable

**broken link removed**

in-circuit programing 12f675

Look the EEPROM Memory Programming Specification of this devices, from microchip -->

Of the 12f675 :

And of the 18f252 :
https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/39576b.pdf

And design your own programmer, why not ;), you must connect PGC ( programming Clock ) PGD ( Programming Data ), PGM ( Lvp enable ), Mclr ( Reset ) Vcc and Gnd ( Power supply ) to your programmer, and respect ac/dc and timing characteristics requierement for programming for these two devices. So, you must do a comprmise of this characteristics to have good programming requierements.

Example for Jdm compactible Prog : ( you must use rs232 signal converter : max232, 233, or level shifter with transistors, or more simply, resistors and diodes... ;) )
PGC --> RTS
PGD --> In --> DTR, Out --> CTS
PGM --> Ground
Mclr --> Txd
Gnd --> Ground
Vcc --> External power supply and Dc/Dc converter, or Jdm schematic to obtain voltage necessary for programming mode...
Good luck :)
