Hi,
I am programing for a microcontroller for detecting heart pulse. I am a beginner and don't know really how I can compare two signals to each other. I want say if pulse is heart beat accept it. the heart beat amplitud is 1V. I don't want noises come in as signals. How I can do it?

Thanks for all helps,
Sanna

Re: compare signals

you can use a comparator to detect whether the signals are similar are not ....

cross-correlation is another technique in DSP for detecting the similarities in the signals.
