How much laser is related to RF electronics?

I want to know how much
laser is related to RF electronics
I mean in applications
because I'm searching for a point to make thesis on

I must say zero.

Laser is unrelated RF because their spectrum is too far apart.

Generating laser one needs low frequency devices, not related to RF.

Maser is the word for the microwave version of a laser. Lots of google hits.
