Hi friends,
Does anybody have a service manual/ diagram of a Philips TV Model:21PT240B/94R?
The problem is Tv gives full(max) volume of audio.Display (OSD)also shows same status. All other functions of remote controller are OK.You can not minimize audio level,when you press vol-;the display flickers but no change in vol.

Se if u can decrese(vol -) from tv keybord.
Also check for dry solder points on audio panel.
At home I think I have schematic...i am at work now:(.

No, it is not a keypad problem.I have disconnected it(it is also not working).If you press vol- at panel or on remote,the osd(the end of the bar showing status of vol) flickers but no change in vol.It seems that it is due to the processor constantly giving o/p for vol+or other IC next to processor may have been shorted to give max vol.
