Hi all.
I've got a doubt about the adjustment of duty cycle for an astable multivibrator using 555.
If you have a circuit for a timer with 1kHz please send it.

hi

here's the final circuit with all the calculations already done
it should give you a square wave of duty cycle equal 0.6
you easily change the duty cyle but it will affect the frequency
let me know if it works for you

R1 should not be less than 1k

My suggestion:

R1=6.8k
R2=68k
C=10nF (0.01uF)

F=1008 Hz (for exact values of R's and C)
F=960 to 1060 (for exact value of C and 5% tolerance of R)
Duty cycle=52.4%

make sure the value of T(on) and T(off) equal to each other by properly fixing R1 R2 and C
