Hi
i dont now the circuit but at https://www.conrad.de
you can get the sensor (very small NTC)
it has an offset of only 0,2% at 37°C
the articlenumber is 18 85 06 22
the price 4,29 euro/ps
i hope this was a little help

Shorty

Analog Devices has some smaller than the to92 package that the lm35 comes in and more accurate too. But you'll pay more for it too. When you say "clinical" I assume you want a very accurate measurement. It would be better to state accuracy and resolution. All of these devices by default are NOT rated for medical equipment. If you are indeed making a medical device check with the component manufacturer. Lawsuits can ruin a business

These were orignated by a joint venture
between two Japanese companies. The sensor
is a precison thermistor and there is a
mask programmed MCU. I'm afraid there's not
much to it.. just the thermistor a resistor
or two (1%) the MCU (COB) and an LCD display
plus a couple of capacitors. The MCU has
some hardware on board to make an oscillator
and there is software linearization and
display.
