Hi everybody,
I'm interested in working with FPGA chipsets so,I have to be familiar with VHDL.
Could you introduce me a book which is described the VHDL language thoroughly and practically ?
I don't need a book that face with FPGA chipsets and VHDL language just from theory aspects.
I'm seeking a book that develops my knowledge step by step with practical examples and hardwares.
I appreciate if you introduce me atleast 2 books.

Regards.

VHDL Book ?

this couple are good:

Circuit designt with VHDL, Pedroni, MIT Press

or

VHDL programming by example, Perry, McGraw Hill

search around forum, several topics about this thread already discussed :)

Re: VHDL Book ?

1) fundamentals of digital logic with vhdl design
by stephen brown
2) vhdl programming by example by
perry

VHDL Book ?

VHDL: Analysis and Modeling of Digital Systems
by Zainalabedin Navabi

Added after 3 minutes:

Nabavi's VHDL book is a nice book for studying VHDL but I am not sure whether it would satisfy your needs...

Re: VHDL Book ?

I think this book.
Circuit Design with VHDL (2004), MIT Press.

Re: VHDL Book ?

u can start with VHDL Primer by J Bhasker . but before going to vhdl u should be familiar with digital circuits.
