I have some questions

The BTS coverage area depend from the level of radiation power of TRX. Where is the tuning of specific cell TRX radiation power fulfiled? On BTS or BSC side?

Who work with Ericsson equipment, I need help.
 

Hi alexandr,
All the settings for BTS are done in BSC/MSC. because BSC/MSC stores all the controlling settings for the underneath BTSs.
I have never worked on Ericsson BTSs... I had knowledge of Nokia BTSs...
The settings can be done through BTSs as well as in BSCs...
 

Does any cellular company use remote control and configuring of BSC and BTS without necessity to go directly to BSC?

Who does use remote electrical tilt of antennas?

Can I use an automatic management of some parameters of BSS? I imply, that I can on OMC side write a script that can manage for example output power of some BTS or antenna's tilt angle ( in the morning 5 grad. , in the evening 10) etc.

And please, write in what coutry you work ( also if you can, company).

in SAMSUNG and Huawei systems, it is controlled by system connectected with BSC.
