I would like to gain some experience with CAD RFIC/MMIC for my thesis. My favorite is ADS but MWO2007 is also very enjoyable to use. I think the best way to learn how to cop with real-world RF issues is doing the design with real foundry libraries (IBM,Triquint etc),rather than using simplified models, which sometimes hardly reflects reality.
My question is-how to get these libraries? what interest does a company have to give them to a non-comercial use?
any suggestions?
