MPLAB 6.3 and PBP2.42

mplab 6.3

Hello,

I try to use pbp 2.42 with MPLAB 6.3. Unfortunately I get an error message and MPLAB always fall. The error message is:

Could not create child process for language tool. (5)

Micosoft visual C++

Runtime error
Program: ...\MPLAB\dlls\MPLAB.exe
Abnormal program termination

I considered the refers of melabs about installation of mplab.

The path under winxp is correct setted.
With MPLAB 5.7 all works good.


Could anyone help.

could not create child process for language tool

there might be an issue of compatibility b/w MPLAB 6.3 and PBP 2.4.2
u can chk compatibility issue by running it with both earlier and later versions of MPLAB.
do chk by again installing the program !!!
