VCCS / MDB to Serial RS232 or infrared

mdb protocol

Hi all,

Any one got experience with VCCS or MDB protocol that use in vending machines. I only can find the spec information about the MDB protocol from internet. I am still looking for information about VCCS protocol. I wanted to build a device that convert both VCCS and MDB protocol to interface with either RS232 or Infrared on windows mobile device. That device will collect the data from vending machine during the replenishment and servicing. I am able to convert the MDB to serial because the protocol spec document is easily available. MDB only consist of 2 signal (TX and RX) but VCCS consist of 3 signal (TX, RX and Sync). Any Idea please?:cry:

Dou u know any one who supplies interface between VCCS based JPN vending machine controller and MDB based coin changer and bill validator? i want it for using with Indian currencies.

How did you convert the mdb protocol to serial. i want to access the information from a vending machine but don't know how.
