Hi all.
I found Silicon Errata in the microchip web site, but I confuse with this, I don’t know if it is at silicon update or only a reference to consider for programming.
Please help me to clarify this.
Thanks.

The organized list of wrong things found in a certain version of a certain model.

If the version of your micro is one of those mentioned there, it is expected to behave, wrongly, differently or not to comply altogether, for a certain part of its functions.

Not an update. Is a list of warnings telling: this will work differently or not work at all.

Sometimes a turnaround is given. That, yes, should be considered in your software.

Silicon Errata: Better call it a bug list for the hardware device. Normally the datasheet is telling you how the device works and a Silicon Errata is telling you what is not working according to the datasheet and how you can overcome problems due to this bug in hardware. Normally Silicon Errata's are removed in the next release of the chip, a new release will have the same component name but a different revision number which you can read with your programmer of ICE/debugger. Different revision number are not visible from the component printing on top of the device !

Thanks to both.
Now I know what it is. I check the revision number of my PIC and it is old but the bugs don’t affect in my program.
I don’t know why they not print the version number because when you buy it seem a lottery.

Regards
