Dear Sirs,

I’ve a question and hope you can answer.

I need to design an antenna with the following features:
- L- Band;
- Narrow band (0,33 %);
- RHCP;
- Delta pattern (two peaks of 12 dB at +/-30 degrees and -30 dB at the centre for ever φ angle);
- Size reduced as much as possible.

I don’t know if using:

- monolayer probe-fed patch antenna with two , four probes with opposite phases;
- planar array of microstrip antennas;
- planar array of helix antennas;
- helical antenna.

Can you give me support about that?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Lupin

Re: Antenna design

An axial-mode microstrip helical antenna should be fine to meet your specification.

Re: Antenna design

Can you give me some information about the overall dimensioning about this antenna?

Thanks in advance,

Lupin
