c programming for atmega8

Hi there guys:)
I am a new member to this forum and so this is my first new post. I am a beginner to the C programming language. Can anyone of you guys teach me how to write a program using C to scroll texts across a 5x7 matrix using an AtMega8?

Hi Romeo123,
thank you for your advice. Really appreciate it. But it seem the sample code that you gave me only displays one character at a time. It doesn't scroll or move the different characters across the LED matrix one at a time. Again, thank you for your advice.
