Re: mobile_antena

The first general answer is that mobile antennas are usually omni directional. As they are mobile the direction to the other subscribers is usually unknown and unpredictable.

For more specific answers you need to provide more definition in your questions.

Re: mobile_antena

Hi,

Normally Planar Inverted F antennas are used. But its very difficult to design triband PIFA.so now-a-days FICA(Folded Inverted Conformal Antenna) are used mutiband coverage. All these antennas are Omnidirectional antenna.

For further info on FICA go thr the attached document.

Re: mobile_antena

To choose what antenna type is depend on what's your application and frequenies

for example , The GPS combined to mobile phone may use ceramic antenna ,

these type can use monopole , heliex , slot , even patch ...etc

for GSM communication , it can use IFA , patch , heliex ....etc

the PIFA is one of the most popular type for application due to low profile .

If you use multi-band for choice , the case is similiar .
