can somebody give me some links or ideas on the types of ADCs and DACs so that i can refer using their names in the net to learn more about them...

Re: ADC's and DAC's

Try ADC0804 OR ADC0808 for ADC

and DAC0800 for DAC

if you need more info let me know
if the info helped you do not forget to push the helped button no points will be deducted from you
good luck

Re: ADC's and DAC's

ADC's are piplined, flash, delta sigma to name a few. DACs can be r-2r ladder, using auto zero technique, switched cap dacs, capacitive dacs, resistive dacs to name a few.

or else could you be more specific on what you want exactly.

ADC's and DAC's

plz refer a book by gaikwad. opamp and application. or search on net.

Re: ADC's and DAC's

refference materials on the sites of BurrBrown or Analog Devices they were the pioneers and the best

ADC's and DAC's

read Franco's book.

ADC's and DAC's

a/d:flash a/d
delta sigma
succesive approximation
ic:adc803
d/a:you can make an d/a simply with ladder network of resistor and opamp
