Hi!

Iam new to microcontrollers..............................
so, i have elaborated my problem little bit more...........so, PLease read patiently..............

Actually i want to have hex file from my system , and i need to write this hex file to external sram of AT89s51 by using microcontroller AT89s51. Iam using serial port for communication...........

To transfer hex file from system to serial port i want to use matlab, because, i already worked with matlab .
To transfer that hex file from serial port and for writing iam using AT89s51.

My problem is.............................

If send 1 byte from matlab to serial port ,then the AT89s51 has to take that byte first and then write then it has to reply for the matlab program so that by seeing this reply matlab program has to send another byte................
so, matlab program and the At89s51 also both has to execute sequentially......
i want to know about the pc hyperterminal so,that without using matlab can we send the file to the microcontroller directly.................

please help.........................
