HI,
I have a PDK of XFAB. How to set it in cadence. Anybody help me.
regards

Most PDKs have two site customization files namely: cds.lib and .cdsinit
the first loads PDK components in your library-path and therefore appear in library manager to use. The other file includes a set of SKILL commands to be loaded to customize the tools in certain way or to add some functionalities related to the kit, such as adding pull-down menus, buttons, ...

So, look for these two files, and simply, run the icfb from the same folder where they exists.

I hope that helps you.
Regards,
Ahmad,

Thank you very much , I have resolved my problems.

Hi zzd135,

HI, it such a longtime from your pose but today my professor gave me a XFAB PDK, I installed but when I run the script" tkit" the error of "command not found" exit.
Could you tell me the process to set XFAB in cadence?

Many thanks

HI test_out

You will have to first set the working directory to the location where the "tkit" command is found.

Then, set the T_DIR and CDSDIR variable to their respective locations, rather set the path for their location.

Then, run the command. It should run on its own.

Javed

Hello test_out, sorry if I did not post any help in time.
I expirence a familiar problem and the solutions for me was to
add the comand ' INCLUDE $T_DIR/cadence/env/templates/cds.lib' at cds.lib
file that is locaded in the working directory (project file).
Hope that may help you!!!

Guys,

Could someone advise how to set the CDSDIR? I mean which directory should it be?

I go to tkit directory and try to run the command but have the following error "command not found"

Hi ririkos,
I have advanced a step further by your comment. Now I have the error "cadence executable not found". Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks in advance
