What's the difference between dsPIC and PIC in relation to architecture?

whats the difference between dsPIC and PIC in architecture wise and also by features wise....

The dsPIC is definitely more powerful in all aspects than the older family of PICs.

I believe that it mainly depends on your application. If there's no REAL need to use a dsPIC in your app., just don't use it...

I recommend you to refer to MicroCHIP datasheets & app. notes on their website.

It's very easy to understand that dsPICs are much more powerful, just look at a datasheet of a dsPIC.
