About

Analog Voice Over VPN?? using cisco routers

What I should takecare & how to ensure good Voice comm. Quality?
What the min. bitrate for one voice conversation?

at last does there is a diff between
"VIRTUAL TUNNEL INTERFACE WITH IP SECURITY" & the VPN
or it is the same

Also what is the diff between the Network Module & Interface??

Salam,

-to achieve this you should have an IP telephone system (VOIP).......install a VPN and VOIP clients on the host and then you can create a VPN tunnel to your VOIP server by VPN gateway....the host now can make any voice call......If you are talking about site to site voice calls you should install a VPN gateways in both sides.

-it depends on the compression rate you specify in your VOIP system

-there is no difference

-I think network module containing many interfaces....which usually installed in large multi-layer switch such as cisco 4000 series.

Best Regards,
