Hi,

I am a new member of this site. I start with a simple question -

How we can implement a 5:1 MUX using any number of 4:1 MUX?What about unused ports?

Mux Implementation

v can use 2 4:1 mux to implement 5:1 mux

for 5 inputs ..v need 3 selection lines
let s0,s1 be selection lines of first mux
now connect output of first mux to input lines 0,1,2 of second mux
33d input of second mux shud be connected with 5th input line
selection line for second input is s2,s2
