how to improve VCO's negative resistor?

how to improve VCO's negative resistor?
 

manily the negative resistance is dependent on the gm of the active device , so by controlling the gm ucan control the negative resistance value

Thank you! I tried to increase/decrease the bias current of the active device ,so the gm chaged ,but the negative resistor changed little,almost the same as before.
I think that maybe my method to test the negative resistor is wrong, can someone tell me how to test the vco's negative resistor.
 

what is the topology ur using , are u using MOS cross coupled pair or what
