check out the above poly_m1 contact,it was generated automatically by create/path/chage to layer(m1) in virtuoso,but this is wired,cause the drc is poly and m1 must overlap the contact by 1 lambda,and the contact is 1*1 lambda so the poly has to be at least 3 lambda in width,but the above poly is 2 lambda,what's going on?
Added after 7 minutes:
ok,now i can explain myself ,the big contact area in magenta means both m1 and poly over there,so it is drc clean,,,and so you have to make the magenta area contact with poly...
