Hi, I want to save a switcher chip by using the ucontroller's pwm + inductor+schotky diode+cap to generate the dc voltage of 3.0-3.3vdc from 2x1.5 alkaline batteries. Is it possible? Anyone has an appnote? How can I keep the 3.3vdc constant when the battery lose its power/voltage? And what will be the efficiency?

thanks
Andrew
