I am trying to implement an algorithm, placing sensors in a grid, with the criteria of power attenuation due to grid point distance. I have already considered log-normal shadowing model in relation with distance, but I would like also to take into account fading models such as Rayleigh and Ricean.

I can’t find a way to relate distance with the probability of covering a grid point, when taking into account Rayleigh and Ricean distribution, and I need some help.

Thanks.
