circuit optimization

Hi friends:

I have a simple question related to equivalent
circuit synthesize.
If I want to approximate a certain frequency
response--Z/Y/S parameter-- using a equivalent lumped network,
and if the topology (location of the R/C/L element and connection)
is fixed, how can I optimize the value of each element
to get a best approximation?

Any related article/book ?

Thanks

You should use a simulator with a optimization feature. Since the circuit is not very complicated , you can use ordinary RF simulator for that purpose such as Ansoft Serenade SV version ( it's free to download )

For features look at

I think that it will serve to your goal.

You may use the lossy match circuit in the out put.

or use balam.

Two ways:
First, using @ds tuning feature to tune the value you need.
Second, usiing the @ds optimise controller component to optimise the circuit charactiristics according to your goal sets.

As for using Ansoft Serenade SV or Designer SV, it is free to download,
but I think the optimization tool is disabled, being the student version. 8)

Using @ds optimizer or h/s/p/i/c/e/ optimization.

at @ds, use the goal, mea, and import the s-parameter using x-port data. finally, run s-parameter simulation.
