why opamp is called voltage controlled voltage device,,,,,,,,,help me

The output voltage is a function of the input voltage. Specifically, the output equals the differential input voltage times the open loop voltage gain.

See the Schematic internal diagram of op amps (Not the internal Circuir!!!).

Vo = Vin (Gain)

for inverting Amplifier = -(R2/R1)

for non inveting = 1+(R2/R1)

input and output is voltage so it is voltage control voltage.

yeah that is true..
the concept comes from the differential amplifier..

it is so because the opamp is dependent on voltages applied at its two terminals........if u see equations of both inverting and non inverting amplifier then u would be clear........

and then check the relationship b/w input and output
