Hello guys,

Which is the best processor to use with IE3D ?
I'd like to use 3GB of memory or more too with it - is it possible?
I am confused with all these Xeon, Single / Dual Core, 32-64 bits etc etc.

Thanks so much!

Hi, Rottenegg:

I think a Core 2 Duo with Win64 is very good. Before Core Dual and Core 2 Dual, a Centrino (with lower clockrate) may be better in some part of the calculation and P4 or Xeon may be better in some other parts of the calculation. It seems Core 2 Duo excels in both aspects. It is beter on IE3D V11 and it is very good on IE3D V12. Core Dual does not improve on IE3D V11 while it does improve on IE3D V12.

Best regards,
