What kind of memory is the cache in pentium processors?

Hello everyone

Does anyone know what kind of memory is the cache in pentium processors??? (dynamic, static??). If someone could tell me how is each memory block I would appreciate it!!

cache memory are static RAM, b/c cache are meant to be small and fast.

Pentium cache memory

For same capacity:
SRAM: faster, power-saving but larger
DRAM: smaller, of course.

static - larger, faster, and more expensive
dynamic - smaller but slower because it needs to be refreshed by the processor at a given rate..
both are volatile...
