The ASIC design team of a large communications/avionics electronic client is looking for an ASIC Designer with a proven track record for developing ASIC devices. Responsibilities for this role include: Defining and developing ASIC devices for avionics applications. Work with Systems and Software Engineers in definition of appropriate hardware to create optimum system solutions. Work with ASIC validation team for bring-up and testing of new silicon.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of Bachelor of Science with 6+ years of experience in device design. A strong background is needed in SOC design involving embedded processors, standard bus architectures, I/O protocols, and memory design. You must be capable and also have recent hands-on experience with RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, and static timing analysis. You must have been closely involved with floor planning, place and route, timing closure, DFT, and ATE test vector generation. A proven track record of completing at leat 3 full device designs through tape out and validation is required, as is experience with device debugging. In depth knowlege of ASIC design methodologies and tools is required.
