Hi all

I'm working on a simulation of moblie phone using HFSS.

It is ok for me to assign a waveport (outside the radiation environment) to feed the

coax of the antenna (antenna inside the radiation environment). The result looks fine.

However, when I tried to assign the waveport inside the radiation environment, no

result could be seen. (Both the s-parameter and far field pattern)

*the wave port assignment I used is to define an integration line from the outside

of the coax to inside.

Could you guys tell me how to define the waveport correctly inside the radiation

environment. Thank You!!
:D

You can use metal (PEC) cap after the waveport to excite within the computational domain,

Rgds.
