What do Research and development electronics jobs do?

What does a electronic tech. need to know to become a R&D engineer designer?

Prototype breadboard circuits? what kind of formulas for designing? using electronic workbench software?

What else would i need to know to get a R&D electronic engineer designer?

You need to be efficient in both analysis and design of systems.Under most circumstances you will be asked to upgrade the existing system,do research. You also need to have excellent technical writing skills.

Can u please give examples on what kind of circuit electronic analysis?

Can u please give examples of circuit design for electronics? for a R&D persons job?

How would u learn how to write or do a technical writing paper or have the skills?
What skills do i need to know to write a technical writing paper?

Difference between Focusing on Problems and Focusing on Solutions

Case 1

When NASA began the launch of astronauts into space, they found out that the pens wouldn't work at zero gravity (ink won't flow down to the writing surface). To solve this problem, it took them one decade and $12 million. They developed a pen that worked at zero gravity, upside down, underwater, in practically any surface including crystal and in a temperature range from below freezing to over 300 degrees C.

And what did the Russians do...?? They used a pencil.
Moral : Always look for simple solutions.
Devise the simplest possible solution that solves the problems
Always Focus on solutions & not on problems
So the end of the day the thing that really matters is HOW ONE LOOK INTO THE PROBLEM, mere perceptions can solve the tough probs....

What grammer book or book would teach about writing a technical writing paper?

i think those books are for something else its not about R&D or Test tech. tech writing papers

Look for the easiest solution that does not compromise the original design. To take your example, the Russians obviously didn't mind erasing.

Two boards are separated from each other by a gap that's small enough to cause wires to get pinched, or worse, pierced. The solution? Increase the gap by increasing the length of the standoffs, BUT don't compromise the design by neglecting the fact that the female-to-male connectors mating the boards will also need to be lengthened/adjusted/changed...

I believe whole-heartedly in looking for the easiest solution, but fully investigate the ramifications of any changes to a working design, first.

hey mr.walters
Buy the book Technical writing by Gerson and Gerson .it's excellent and will meet your requirements

Both really

Techwriting comes first before R and D

So im trying to learn how to write Techwriting papers where and how do u know to write these papers for?
