Salam All
I have a GSM Module.
I connect it to the serila port of a PC
i can make a Call using ATDxxxxxxxxxxx:
the question is: How can i calculate the call duration????
i want to know the call time during the call progress
how can i do this?????????????????????????????
best regards
Ahmed

There is no standard AT command defined in GSM/3GPP spec for call duration. In case, your modem provides a proprietary AT command. I think you have to count by yourself.

Hi
thanks for your reply
but how can i detect the start of the call.
or how can i start and stop counting???
many thanks
Ahmed

By using standard AT command, u may consider to use +CLCC to check the call state. For example, u can start the count when the call is connected, and stop when the call is IDLE. However, it is required to POLL the call state in a "certain" interval repeatedly.
