in SoftICE you can debug your code in the target application using some softwares like Keil. there are some limitations like com port and some registers you can't access .
But the datasheet states that there is an in-built debugger in 89V51RD2 while if I want to use KEIL as debugger, I'll have to put Monitor-51 inside it...so whats the use of debugger thats already inside the controller ???
