hi,

i'm using opamp 741 IC , as an inverting amplifier with gain equals 10, but i get very large out put about 11 volts when the input is in millivolts or with zero input,

i need help unrgently please , my circiut is attached.

Dear,

According to your schematic, your feedback resistors are in wrong place.

Positive input of Opamp must be grounded and 10k should be between vout and negative input of opamp.

the 1k resistor must be between input and negative input of opamp.

(just swap Pin + and - inputs of opamp).you current configuration has a positive feedback and works as a comparator.

Good Luck.

Not just a comparator, it is configured as a Schmitt trigger.

Yes, it is Schmitt trigger. But schmitt trigger is nothing but comparator with hysterisis and nobody uses a comparator without hysterisis. So in general even schmitt trigger is referred as comparator.
